Problem output variables in xAdmin not being recognized.

Postby mrvaill » Thu Feb 18, 2010 9:08 am

We are new to xPresso for Adobe IdDesign, and have created all of the admin got a new document. When we run the batch job, an op variable that is used in the file name is not found, we get the following message:

Value of key OP1906 not found.
Unable to resolve a system variable or OP variable.
This occurs when a shared library is not able to obtain or evaluate the value of a variable. Ensure that the variable source is available.

We know the data is being found because we get a postscript output file with all of the data.

Any suggestions?

I once had a similar problem with a Dreamweaver xPresso document. If I remember correctly, my primary mistake was that the output variable in xAdmin was "EMAIL_ADDRESS" and I wrote it like "email_address" in Dreamweaver. xPublish requires the variable names to be exactly the same, case sensitive. Eventually, I got xPression to send those emails.

It works the same in Adobe. Everything is case sensitive.
